The Letters 1916-1923 online archive is continuously updated and expanded by the public for the public. People can get involved by uploading any letters written between 1 Nov 1915 and 31 Dec 1923, or by transcribing letters which have already been contributed to the archive.<\/p>\n<h3>What&#8217;s Involved<\/h3>\n<p>We are looking for volunteers to be a part of the research process by helping to transcribe and review letters written between 1916 and 1923 &#8211; a key period in Irish history. Transcribers pick topics they are interested in (the Easter Rising, the Great War, love letters, politics, etc.).
