The goal of the internship is to create a text analysis tool for the \u201cLetters of 1916 project\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-6719 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/letters1916.ie\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/performance_3.jpg\" alt=\"performance_3\" width=\"699\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/letters1916.ie\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/performance_3.jpg 600w, https:\/\/letters1916.ie\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/performance_3-300x97.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 699px) 100vw, 699px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Roman Bleier is a PhD student at the Department of History at\u00a0Trinity College Dublin, on the structured PhD programme in Digital Arts and Humanities (DAH). A part of his PhD research is the development of a\u00a0digital edition of Saint Patrick\u2019s writings. His digital edition consists of TEI\/XML encoded transcriptions of all medieval manuscripts witnesses of the famous saint. His research interest is Medieval history, Digital Scholarly Editing and related subjects (such as XML technologies, web design and development).<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s great to have you on board Roman!
