Remembering the Great War through preserved memories

Digital media give us a great opportunity to preserve, access and use the memories from the Great War. Click here to read and transcribe some of the letters related to the World War I from the Letters of 1916 Project online archive. These letters give moving and fascinating insights into Irish lives from the time of the Great War and most of them are available to the public’s eyes for the first time through the Letters 1916 Project.
