The next #AskLetters1916 Twitter chat will take place on Monday 20 April 2015 from 5.30 – 6.30pm (GMT). The chat will be hosted by Dr Brian Hughes, a postdoctoral researcher in Trinity College Dublin and former Associate Editor of the Letters of 1916 project.  This month, the chat will focus on letters which were written 99 years ago – Easter Week 1916.

The twitter chat will focus on a number of letters written in the days leading up to and after the 1916 Rising. We have selected a range of letters – from official correspondence to more personal and poignant. To read the letters, please click here.
