We are delighted to introduce the Text Analysis of the Letters 1916 set up as part of Roman Bleier’s internship at the Center for High Performance Computing in TCD and the Letters of 1916 project. The goal of the internship is to create a text analysis tool for the “Letters of 1916 project”.
Roman Bleier is a PhD student at the Department of History at Trinity College Dublin, on the structured PhD programme in Digital Arts and Humanities (DAH). A part of his PhD research is the development of a digital edition of Saint Patrick’s writings. His digital edition consists of TEI/XML encoded transcriptions of all medieval manuscripts witnesses of the famous saint. His research interest is Medieval history, Digital Scholarly Editing and related subjects (such as XML technologies, web design and development).
It’s great to have you on board Roman! Best of luck with the internship. We look forward to the outcomes!
