On 30 March, The Daily Telegraph reviewed the BBC 4 Radio documentary which centred on stories from the Letters of 1916 collection.
The radio documentary, 1916: A Letter from Ireland, was presented by Irish Times journalist Fintan O’Toole and examined some of the correspondence from Letters of 1916 which paints a unique portrait of Irish people coming to terms with monumental events but, at the same time, getting on with everyday life.
1916: A Letter from Ireland was among the best things I heard on the subject last week.
